Viajando en 25 países con 92 voluntarios en 4 días – Nuestra semana de Evaluación Intermedia SVE (english version)

SVE_9marzo2016_pWe have had our mid-term evaluation of our European Voluntary Service (EVS) in the Euro-Latin American Youth Center (CEULAJ) located in Mollina (Málaga).

We were 92 volunteers from 25 different countries and 10 tutors (7 Autonomous Communities) !!

During the week, we were working in groups over some issues: “Presenting my project,” “Our learning process,” “prevention, management and resolution of difficulties”, “Activity EVS-Broadcast”…

It was an opportunity to evaluate our projects, exchange experiences, spaces, tools and  practices that will enable them to improve our projects after the seminar and during our own service. We also had an activity of  visibility and dissemination of the EVS program , in the city of Granada.

In addition, as were a  large group, we  had the opportunity to express our creativity through some cultural activities such as the two super-fun evenings . In the “Culturcreativa night” we presented different regions of Spain and at last night we demonstrated a dance of each country !!

Sharing experiences and meeting people from all the European countries was something unique: learning new things, comparing differences and similarities. It felt like I was traveling every day! The culture of each is the true treasure of our world !!”

It Is really nice meeting people that share your experience, worries and know first hand what it means to do an EVS in Spain . I also found it interesting that a lot of other volunteers  have the same or similar project to mine and they are willing to bring their point of view in job-related matters.

And we shall not forget that now we have a place to crash in every corner of Spain 😛
